Maybe people don’t know they can (and should!) update their reviews when things change! It saddens me to see several low-star reviews, even after the developer has responded, and often fixed the issue. I now have Buffer set up with Working Copy, and it works great! I don’t write many app reviews (not nearly as many as I should) but I definitely wanted to thank this developer for being on-top of things.

When I had a question about how to use it, I sent an email and received a prompt reply, even offering more help than I needed. This isn’t an app that’s been released and abandoned by the developer, it is regularly updated all the time. I searched around the web and found several suggestions and bought them all (iOS apps are so inexpensive, that’s easy to do).īut what made me start using Buffer was that I kept seeing updates come through the App Store.

but I wanted something that would do code highlighting, etc. There are lots of text editors, Markdown editors, etc. I have been looking for a code editor for the iPad for some time.
I would not be distracted by the UI eye candy… Looks good but does not function well. There are many many more annoyances but those are the problems I discovered after 5 minutes of using Settings are unorganized and thrown into a single menu auto-closing parenthesis, brackets, and quotations does not work The C syntax highlighting did not even recognize “uint” or “bool” the stinking file browser stays on the left side of the screen for the entire time you’re editing a file the file browser is generally unintuitive and only allows you to delete and rename files. changes made during the weird text searching does not get added to the undo buffer, so changes are permanent (and it is really hard to see the cursor during text replacement) searching for text (which I could only figure out how to do by pressing cmd+f on my hardware keyboard) does not show you the text that you are searching for The is an annoying and significant slowdown whenever a key on the keyboard is pressed. Here are the annoyances I had while using the app: The app really seems to lack behind Textastic in most areas of usability and is really badly polished.
